Our program is very basic, but it took a long time to develop. Our strength is our mares. We have saved the best Rowdy Rebel daughters, bred them to Buckeroo stallions, saved the best of their daughters,(The Rowbucks), and then finally found a stallion,(Mt. Meadows D's American Express) that complements them. So far the results stand for themselves.

Now is where the fun comes in. In order to stamp this look, we are going to begin introducing an Express grandson and our own home bred stallions, with similar breeding and look, back on the daughters of the Rowbuck-Express cross. We are very excited to begin promoting these young guys. We shall see if we can get the look to stick.

Like a lot of other farms and older breeders, we will be scaling back, but only as far as how many mares we breed. We have finally gotten the brood mares that we feel will take us forward, but we don't feel that they have to foal every year. Breeding them less often will give us more time to concntrate and handle the foals and young stock that we are critiquing.

Some do it for the Money.
Some do it for the Glory.
Some of us just do it to see if we can do it.
